What certificates will my child receive after completing Grade 12 with Euka?

Certificates Issued by Euka for Year 12 and Eligibility Requirements

Euka is dedicated to ensuring that homeschooled students achieve recognition for their accomplishments through its comprehensive certification programs. Below are the details regarding the types of certificates awarded upon completion of Year 12 and the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility for Certificates

Euka offers completion certificates to students who successfully complete the Year 12 program. Unlike state-issued credentials, Euka's certifications are provided regardless of a student's previous academic grades (prior to enrolment with Euka) or specific statuses attained in earlier education levels. For example:

  • Homeschooled students in the Euka program are eligible to receive a Year 12 certificate. Not having completed Grade 11 with Euka won’t impact your eligibility to enrol.

  • The issuance of a Year 12 certificate is independent of students' ineligibility for state-issued credentials like ATAR or HSC.

Types of Certificates Offered by Euka

Euka provides a range of certificates depending on the pathway chosen—either the Assessed/University Pathway or the Assessment-Free Pathway.

Assessed/University Pathway

Students completing the Assessed/University Pathway receive the following:

  1. Senior Completion Certificate: Awarded upon successful completion of Grade 12

  2. Academic Transcripts: Teacher-graded academic records provided for Grades 11 and 12

  3. University Preparation Certificate: Issued upon completion of the university Preparation Skills course, to support the university admissions process

Assessment-Free Pathway

Students in the Assessment-Free Pathway are issued the following:

  1. Grade Completion Certificates: Certificates for completing Grade 11 and Grade 12

  2. Academic Transcripts: Provided without grades to reflect program participation and completion

Key Notes for Homeschooled Students

  • State-issued credentials (e.g., ATAR or HSC) are not accessible to homeschooled students as these awards are restricted to mainstream schooling assessed by state curriculum authorities. However, Euka's certificates serve as valid recognition for accomplishing academic goals within its homeschooling framework.

  • All certificates issued by Euka are designed to support further education and career goals, regardless of the specific pathway chosen.
