Students studying Grades 11 or 12 in both the Assessed/University Pathway and the Assessment-Free Pathway Euka Programs will complete six subjects. English is mandatory, and students can choose five others based on their interests.
How and When Do I Select My Subjects?
You can select your subjects while completing the enrolment setup steps. However, if you aren’t ready to select them at that time, no problem! Simply click ‘skip,’ and you can complete the selection later via the Parent Portal under the Manage Programs tab, then click Manage Subjects.
How Do Textbooks Work?
Once you have selected your chosen subjects via the Parent Account, they will be uploaded to your Student Portal for immediate access. Your virtual textbooks will also be available via the Textbook tab in your Student Portal.
To access your textbooks through your Box of Books account:
Click on the ‘Textbook Portal’ link in the left menu of your Student Portal.
This will take you directly to your personalised bookshelf—no need to create an account.
Please note: That not all subjects have prescribed textbooks that will be allocated via the Box of Books section but instead will be available via the student portal itself.
If prompted to log in, use your Euka ID and the same password as your Student Portal.
Can I Change Subjects?
Yes, you can! Here are a few things to keep in mind:
You can change subjects at any time via the Parent Account > Manage Subjects tab.
We offer free subject changes within the first two weeks of enrolment (this is counted from the time of purchase, not when lessons begin).
After the initial two-week period, a $75 admin fee applies for each subject change that requires a textbook update.

What If I Want to Complete Fewer Than Six Subjects?
No problem! Euka is designed to be flexible and accommodate your child’s needs. Many families choose to count external programs, such as TAFE, VET courses, or apprenticeships, as subjects. Others may have received a subject exemption from the Department of Education.
If you plan to complete fewer than six subjects, simply select the number that suits your needs. English remains a compulsory subject across all states and must be included.
Can I Complete More Than Six Subjects?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate requests for a seventh subject in our Grade 11 and 12 programs. Our system is not designed to support additional subjects.
If you would like to study an extra subject, you are welcome to explore external courses and complete one alongside your Euka studies.
