Understanding Assessments for the Grade 11 and 12 Euka Program
At Euka, we strive to provide the best education for your child. As part of our program, we have Grade 11 and 12 Euka courses that help students prepare for their senior studies and future career opportunities. In this article, we will be discussing assessments and how they are used in our program.
Do Parent Planners and Parent Assessment Checklists Need to be Filled Out?
One of the key features of the Grade 11 and 12 Euka program is that students do not need to fill out Parent Planners or Parent Assessment Checklists. This is because we have a different process in place that helps students report their progress to the Department.
Accessing Assessments
If your child is enrolled in the Grade 11 or 12 Euka program, you will notice that in the "Getting Started" section of each subject, there is an ASSESSMENTS tab. This tab will give you access to the marking criteria for each assessment.
Marking Assessments
Once your child has completed an assessment, marking can be done using the criteria sheet provided in the ASSESSMENTS tab. If you would like to see some examples of assessments and their results, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are more than happy to share these with you and provide further support. This will also give you an idea of how our teachers are marking and help you better understand the assessment process.
Storing Assessments
After the assignment has been completed and marked, it is important to store these documents in a safe and easily accessible location. They may come in handy in the future when your child applies for other courses, jobs, traineeships, or apprenticeships. Having access to examples of their work can be useful if requested by external organisations after they finish schooling.
We hope this article has helped you better understand the assessment process for the Grade 11 and 12 Euka Senior program. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us
