Grade 11 & 12 with Euka

Euka focuses on pathways and partnerships when it comes to University after Grades 11 and 12 for many reasons.

Please note that through Grades 11/12 with Euka, students will not receive a High School Certificate (HSC) from the Government or an ATAR because this is done through a face-to-face school-based credential assessed by the Board of Studies or Curriculum Assessment Authority in each state.

We do however offer our students an alternative pathway instead. This pathway does not hinder our students who complete Grade 12 through our program but instead ensures our students have the same opportunities as other mainstream school students even without ATARs and HSCs. Our focus is on making the entire Grade 11 and 12 self-paced and exam free.

We have personally partnered with universities all around Australia to provide our students with a direct pathway into universities through alternative entry options.

Why choose Euka for Grade 11 & 12?

Here are a few of the main reasons why families choose Euka as an alternative to the ATAR/mainstream route:-

1: We are self-paced.

Students enrolled in Grade 11 and 12 UPC get to work at their own most comfortable pace. Even their termly assignment pieces that are submitted and marked by Euka teachers don't have a deadline by which they must be submitted. For example, students could submit term 1 assignments in term 3 or submit assignments early if they are hoping to finish the program at a quicker pace.

2: There are no tests or exams.

Often, one of the main reasons students struggle in mainstream school is largely due to the environment and because they have to pass based on tests. In mainstream school, the whole year is based around big exams that will determine whether or not a student received a high enough score to enter into University or other tertiary options. But at Euka, it is self-paced, and if a student ever submits an assignment that is below a passing score, they don't just fail. Instead, our teachers will write feedback and send this back so they can re-submit the assessment. This means it is impossible to fail at Euka as long as students are willing to take the feedback and put in the hard work.

3: Lastly: Flexibility (work at your own pace)

Euka partners with many families who consider the homeschooling option because their child is a high achiever and they want to break away from the norms of working at a classroom pace. Instead, they take control of their education and place it into their own hands. Often, these students will complete Grade 12 months or even years early to receive early entry into our partner universities. For example, we worked with a 14 year old student who got accepted into the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2023 and will begin at the University in 2024.

Euka's Partner Universities

Upon completion of Grade 12 students will come out with an excellent education and of course, Senior Certificate of Grade 12 which can be used to apply at our partner Universities and even others that we don't partner with. We have a number of partner universities that hold positions for Euka students. At these universities, our students go directly into a one-year diploma which will be counted as credit for first year undergraduate study and enable them to move into the second year.

Not only is this pathway a huge advantage in regard to ease of entry, but the diploma allows students to enter tertiary study and be given superior support by teaching staff. Students will enter the second year of university with confidence.

All our partner universities have the same diploma option or similar. Deakin University also has online options for students learning remotely. It is important to know that places in the diploma courses are in high demand, even from those who have come from mainstream schools, due to the personalised support and extra tutoring opportunities.

We understand that students may have other universities that are of interest and we are currently organising partnerships with further universities.

Keep in mind, if students have their eyes on another university, you can contact them and discuss their pathways for students who have finished Grade 12 with Euka, and obtained a Euka University Preparation Certificate and Senior Certificate. Most universities have alternative entry options for students without an ATAR.
