Depending on the State or Territory in which you reside, there are guidelines to follow in relation to registering to homeschool within specific age brackets.

You must be registered to homeschool with the Department of Education in your State or territory if your child falls within the below age groups:-

New South Wales 6-17 years

Victoria 6-17 years

South Australia 6-17 years

Northern Territory 6-17 years

Canberra 5-17 years

Queensland 5.5-17 years

Western Australia 5.5-17.5 years

Tasmania 5-17 years

Upon reaching 18, you are no longer required to register as a homeschooler.
