Government Report Creator - Work Samples Explained

How do I complete the work sample question in the Government Report Creator? How many samples do I need to add?

Updated today

The "Work Sample" section of the Government Report Creator is where you can upload your students from Grades Foundation - Grade 10 work samples “evidence of learning” and also complete your parent comments (annotations) at the same time.

How many work samples do I need to upload?

You will need to upload a minimum of 10 work samples across at least 2 Terms of learning in order for the Government Report Creator to compile a report.

Why isn't there a work sample section for Electives and Launchpad?

Electives are generally not reported on however we still advise families to document their child's work and save this in a folder on their device in the instance that this information is requested.

Launchpad is a completely optional program and therefore will not be requested to be reported on.

Can I upload Videos/Images to the work sample section:

You will be able to upload images of your child's work samples directly to the GRC dashboard, however, videos are not compatible and cannot be uploaded.

Please take a look at this detailed walkthrough video on how to add a work sample once inside the Government Report Creator and also how to then add your parent comments and documents/images.
