What is Matific?

Matific is an innovative educational platform designed to make learning mathematics engaging and effective for students from Foundation through to Grade 6. By combining interactive activities with adaptive technology, Matific helps students develop a strong foundation in math through a playful and personalised learning experience.

Why did Euka select Matific?

Euka selected Matific as a key resource for our primary students because we believe that fostering a genuine love for mathematics is crucial at this foundational stage. Matific’s interactive and engaging approach helps make math enjoyable and accessible, encouraging students to develop a positive attitude towards the subject. By using Matific’s dynamic activities and adaptive learning technology, we aim to nurture curiosity and enthusiasm for math, setting the stage for a lifelong appreciation and understanding of mathematical concepts.

How to activate and access Matific

Activating your complementary Matific account is simple, and automated the first time you access the Matific platform.

For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome as your internet browser.

Accessing Matific in the Previous Learning Experience

Via the Additional Content Menu

To activate Matific for the first time:

Log in to your Student Learning Portal
Click on Additional Content

Select Request Access for Matific

After selecting "Request Access", the button will move to a processing state.

Please allow approximately 5–10 minutes for the account to be created. We recommend continuing with other lessons during this time and returning later. Alternatively, you may wait for the confirmation email sent to your parent email address.

Once ready, the button will update to Access Content.

From this point onward, students can simply click the link anytime they wish to access Matific.

Accessing via Maths Lesson Content Links

Students can also access relevant Matific activities directly from within Euka Maths lessons.

At the top of each Maths lesson, students can select View Resources, which will take them to the linked activities located at the bottom of the lesson page.

Each activity will indicate whether it has previously been accessed, and students can revisit activities at any time if desired.

Accessing Matific in the New Learning Experience

Students using Euka’s new learning experience can access Matific activities directly within their Maths lessons.

To access Matific activities:

Select Start Lessons from the Student Portal
Choose the relevant Term
Select the appropriate Week
Scroll down to the individual Maths lesson
Click on the APPLY tab within the lesson
Select More Activities (the orange box shown below)

Once selected, students will be able to access the linked Matific activities for that lesson.

Please note:

Matific activities may not display as “completed” within the portal after being finished.
This will not affect lesson progress.
Once the Matific activity has been completed, students can simply continue to the next lesson.

Using the Matific Platform:

Getting started on first login

On first use of Matific, students will experience a storytelling sequence introducing the Matific world.

Students will also be prompted to create a character, helping drive engagement and motivation through unlockable character outfits and rewards.

Day-to-day free roaming on the Matific Platform

Euka students using Matific have access to the following areas within the platform:

Adventure Island

Euka lessons include direct links to these activities.

Training Zone

Students can choose topics to practise specific skills.

Arena

Students can play interactive maths games and compete against other students.

If you would like your child to spend additional time using Matific, we recommend directing them to Adventure Island, as this area adapts activities based on your child’s learning level and learning needs.

Matific FAQ

How do I change the grade for Matific?

You can request a grade change for Matific through your Parent Portal under Student Programs by selecting Request a Grade Change.

Is there a Matific username and password?

No separate username or password is required.

Students can access Matific directly from the Euka Student Learning Portal using Single Sign-On (SSO). As long as the student is logged into Euka, they can access Matific.

Is there a Matific parent account for Euka parents?

No separate Matific parent account is provided.

All key information and settings are managed through the Euka Parent Portal. Additional parent features and reporting tools may continue to roll out over time.

Euka provides complimentary access to Matific as part of our homeschooling package through a simplified Single Sign-On (SSO) process. This allows students to securely access Matific without requiring multiple login credentials.
