What is the Euka Letter of Enrolment Confirmation?
The Euka Letter of Enrolment Confirmation is an official document that confirms your child is enrolled with Euka and is following an Australian curriculum-aligned program.
This letter can be used as supporting documentation in a variety of situations where proof of enrolment with a homeschooling provider is required.
Important Information
Enrolling with Euka does not mean you are officially registered as a homeschooler.
Homeschooling registration and approval can only be granted by your state or territory’s Department of Education. Each state has its own requirements, and families must apply directly to their relevant authority to be formally approved.
Transitioning from Mainstream Schooling
If you are transitioning your child from mainstream schooling to homeschooling:
You are welcome to provide your Euka Confirmation Letter to your child’s current school.
However, schools will also require your government-issued homeschooling approval letter before they can formally unenroll your child.
The Euka letter alone is not sufficient for deregistration from a school.
What can I use the letter for?
The Euka Letter of Enrolment Confirmation can be used for:
Supporting school deregistration
To accompany your official homeschooling approval letter when unenrolling your child, if the school requests proof of your homeschooling provider.
Co-parenting arrangements
To provide confirmation to another parent or guardian that your child is enrolled in a structured homeschooling program.
Government assistance (e.g. Centrelink)
As supporting documentation if you are receiving financial assistance for educational expenses.
TAFE/Traineeships
This can be used to support TAFE or traineeship applications if proof is required that you are utilising a curriculum provider.
How do I request a confirmation letter?
The Letter of Enrolment Confirmation can only be requested by the parent or guardian who enrolled the student with Euka.
