What Should I Expect?
Families sometimes use Euka for a period of time and later decide to return to mainstream schooling.
If your child is returning to school, the receiving school may ask for documents showing your child’s enrolment history, learning progress, completed work or current learning level.
Every school has its own enrolment process, so we recommend asking the school directly what they need before gathering your documents.
What Documents Can Euka Provide?
Depending on your child’s enrolment, Student Portal activity and available records, Euka may be able to provide:
Euka Letter of Enrolment Confirmation
Academic Transcripts and Grade Reports
Term Completion Certificates and/or Grade Completion Certificates
Lesson completion details within Academic Transcripts and Grade Reports
Saved Work Samples and Parent Assessment Checklists, or work-sample evidence within reports if Premium Reporting was used
Reports and certificates can be accessed through the Parent Portal. In the new learning experience, certificates also appear on the Achievements Page once earned.
What Is The Euka Letter Of Enrolment Confirmation?
The Euka Letter of Enrolment Confirmation confirms that your child is enrolled with Euka and is following an Australian curriculum-aligned program.
This letter can support proof of enrolment with Euka, but it does not replace government homeschooling approval and is not sufficient for school deregistration on its own.
The letter must reflect the student’s Euka enrolment record.
Check out the following article for more information about Euka's Letter of Enrolment Confirmation.
What Can Reports And Certificates Show?
Standard Reporting includes Academic Transcripts and Grade Reports. These can show information such as lesson completion, parent feedback, quiz results and assignment results where available.
Academic Transcripts and Grade Reports can be generated from the Parent Portal throughout the year, but they only reflect the lesson completion, feedback and available results recorded at the time.
Premium Reporting enables parents to add work samples and use government-compliant reporting features. Work samples are used as evidence of learning.
For Foundation to Grade 10, DIY reporting can also support re-entry by using saved work samples and completed Parent Assessment Checklists.

A Term Completion Certificate is awarded once a term is marked 100% complete.
A Grade Completion Certificate is awarded once four consecutive terms within a grade are completed.
What If the School Needs Something Else?
Euka families can access enrolment confirmations and available learning records, including reports, certificates, and work-sample evidence, through their Parent Portal.
Formal homeschooling approval, registration, and deregistration documentation will need to be obtained from the relevant state Department of Education with which students are registered. Schools may also request records directly from a student's previous school, where applicable.
If a school has requested documentation that you believe should be provided by Euka, or if you are having difficulty locating a document available through your Parent Portal, please feel free to contact our Support Team, and we will be happy to assist.
What About Senior Students?
Senior students may receive Euka certificates and transcripts depending on their pathway and completion.
Senior students can obtain term and grade completion certificates via the Achievements Page. Assessed and University Pathway students may also receive additional certificates, such as Assignment Completion and University Preparation certificates.
Please note that if your intention is to return to a mainstream school for Grade 12 after completing Grade 11 with Euka, we strongly recommend contacting the school you are hoping to attend before making this decision.
As homeschooled students do not receive an HSC, ATAR, or equivalent school-issued senior secondary qualification while studying with Euka, it is important to confirm directly with the prospective school whether they are able to accept a student into Grade 12 following a period of homeschooling. Each school may have its own enrolment requirements and entry criteria, so obtaining this information in advance can help ensure a smooth transition.
Before Returning To School
Before meeting with the school:
Ask what documents they require.
Download any available Academic Transcripts, Grade Reports or certificates from the Parent Portal.
Check the Achievements Page for earned certificates.
Gather saved work samples and Parent Assessment Checklists, or work-sample evidence within reports if Premium Reporting was used.
Request an Euka Letter of Enrolment Confirmation if needed.
Contact your state or territory homeschooling authority if registration or deregistration information is required.
Contact your child’s previous school if previous mainstream school records are required.
