How to Enrol and Register for Homeschooling in Victoria, Australia

We are here to help you through the process of enrolling and registering for homeschooling in Victoria, Australia. Follow the steps below:

Before you submit your application to the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA), you will need to enrol with Euka. The VRQA requires all documents to be submitted at the same time.


Step 1: Enrol with Euka

To start the process, you can visit our website and enrol with us. Once you have enrolled, we will provide you with all the necessary information and support you need to complete your registration with the VRQA.

Step 2: Ready your registration paperwork

Once you have enrolled with Euka, you will need to start preparing your paperwork for registration with the VRQA. Below is a checklist of documents that you will need to include with your application:

Application Checklist: Do it yourself option

- Scope and Sequence ("Full Year Learning Plan")

- Birth Certificate

- Language Scope and Sequence (ATTACH GRADE LEVEL VIC LANGUAGE S&S)

- A completed Individualised Plan

Application Checklist: Government Registration service option

-Your child’s “Registration Package” (Individualised Education plan for your child/comprehensive documentation answering all relevant additional Information required for Homeschooling in your state, this is a single Document)
- Scope and Sequence (Full Year Learning Plan)
- Language Scope and Sequence (ATTACH GRADE LEVEL VIC LANGUAGE S&S)
- Application Form
- Birth Certificate

Once you have gathered all your documents, you can move on to the next step.

Step 3: Submit your paperwork to the VRQA

When you have all your documents ready, you can submit them to the VRQA via email at [email protected]. Be sure to include all the necessary documents and information to ensure a smooth registration process.

Step 4: Wait for your approval

After submitting your documents, you will need to wait for the VRQA to process your application. Once they have reviewed and approved your registration, they will send you a registration certificate of approval. This is an official document that allows you to then un-enrol your child from their mainstream school and begin homeschooling.
