What are Euka Electives
Euka Electives are additional subjects taken alongside core subjects. Electives consists of four courses, each exploring a different area of the subject. Courses typically take 25 hours to complete, making each elective approximately 100 hours in total. Many electives can be combined for a more comprehensive understanding of a subject area, ideal for students looking to expand their knowledge further.
Certificates

Statement of Attainment
Completing all courses in an elective earns a Statement of Attainment, recognising the student’s achievement.
What’s changing?
New Elective Structure: Our courses are now grouped into cohesive electives, with each elective containing four courses, providing a focused experience per subject area.
Simplified Elective Selection: We’ve updated the process for students to choose electives, offering an improved experience for exploring and discovering options while ensuring guidance on state-specific requirements. Each elective now covers the entire grade comprehensively, removing the need to select individual courses each term.
Seamless Transition: For students who have previously selected elective courses, as part of this update we'll automatically add any new courses to their Student Learning Portal so their elective is aligned to the new structure.
What Do You Need to Do?
