Getting Started with Euka: Your Onboarding Checklist

I have just enrolled, what do I do now? How do I set up my Euka accounts? How do I access my child's lessons?

Updated over a week ago

Welcome to Euka! You’ve taken the first step in your homeschooling journey, and now you may be wondering, "What’s next?" Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! Follow this simple checklist to get you and your student set up with Euka smoothly.

1. Setting Up Your Accounts

After completing your checkout, you will receive a Welcome to Euka email. This email will guide you through finalising your enrolment by entering your student's details and generating their unique Euka Student ID.

Please note: If you can’t find your Welcome Email, it may be due to an incorrect email address being entered at checkout. If you suspect an error, please contact our support team we can update your details and ensure the email is delivered to you.

Understanding Your Two Accounts:

  • Student Portal: This is where your child will access their lessons and learning materials each day. Parents can also log in to track progress and print activity sheets

  • Parent Account: This is your admin hub, where you can manage payments, purchase additional grade levels or terms, select electives, and access premium services

Once you've completed the enrolment set-up steps, you’ll be able to create login credentials for both accounts—simple and easy!

2. Exploring Your Student & Parent Portals

Once logged in, take a moment to navigate through both portals:

  • In the Student Portal, your child’s lessons and materials will be available.

  • In the Parent Account, if your child is in Grade 9 or 10, you can select/change their electives here. Once selected these will automatically appear in the Student Portal

  • If your student is in Grade 11 or 12, you will complete their subject selection via the Parent Account, and their textbooks and materials will be uploaded to their Student Portal

3. Registering for Homeschooling (For Australian Families)

If you are based in Australia, you must register your child with your state’s Department of Education. Each state has different requirements, and you can find specific guidelines in our State Registration Guide (click here for more details).

  • If you have included the Euka Government Registration Service with your child’s enrolment, log into your Parent Account and complete the Registration Questionnaire. Once submitted, we will generate your child’s Individualised Education Plan and Scope & Sequence (Education summary) for your homeschooling application.

  • If you are preparing your own learning plans, you can still access Euka’s Scope & Sequence in the Student Documents section of your Parent Account and use our DIY registration guides by clicking here

Remember, we are always here to answer and assist with your questions. When new to Homeschooling we suggest taking it slow, with no immediate pressures to create a strict Homeschool schedule to follow just yet.

Focus on finding a rhythm, focus on creating a Homeschool environment that you enjoy and love without feeling the pressure to get everything perfect right away.

Homeschooling is all about learning the way that feels best for your family. This is exactly why we created a program that is self-paced and flexible!

Happy learning! 📚✏️😊
