The Manage Subjects feature within the Parent Portal allows families to view all subjects included in their student's enrolled program, along with an overview of what will be covered throughout their enrolled terms.
This feature provides greater visibility into your students' learning journey, helping you understand the subjects they are studying and the topics they will explore.
Where Can I Find the Subject List?
To access your student's subject list:
Log in to the Parent Portal.
Navigate to Student Programs.
Select your student's enrolled program.
Under the Grade Details section, locate the Subjects heading.
Click Manage Subjects.
You will be taken to the Subject List page, where all provisioned subjects for your student's program will be displayed.
What Information Can I View?
For each subject, families can view:
The total number of lessons included.
The number of terms the subject has been provisioned for.
A brief overview of the topics and concepts covered.
The subject's Scope and Sequence, which can be viewed or downloaded for further reference.
This information provides a helpful snapshot of your student's learning program and what they can expect to cover throughout the year.
Grades 9–10 Elective Subjects
For students enrolled in Grades 9 and 10, any elective subjects selected as part of their program will also appear within the Manage Subjects page.
For each elective, families can view:
An overview of the topics and units covered.
Information about any certificates available upon completion.
Details regarding the Certificate of Attainment, which can be earned once all units within the chosen elective have been successfully completed.
Grades 11–12 Subjects
For students enrolled in Grades 11 and 12, the Subject List page includes additional information to support senior studies.
Families can view:
A summary of topics covered within each subject.
The total number of assignments included for that subject.
Access to the subject Scope and Sequence document.
Please note, that the subjects displayed will reflect the student's current subject selections.
